The Ekiti State Government entered into a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with YSJ Farms Limited, an agro-allied company, to boost food production, create youth employment and promote agribusiness across the state.

The partnership focuses on reviving and modernizing farm settlements in Ekiti through the establishment of Renewed Hope Farm Dormitories and large-scale cultivation projects in multiple local government areas.

The Ekiti State Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) is a government-driven initiative with support from African Development Bank aimed at transforming agriculture into a catalyst for industrialization and economic growth. The zone serve as hubs for agricultural production, processing, and value addition, underpinned by modern infrastructure such as power, water, roads, and logistics facilities. They are designed to enhance agricultural productivity, attract investments, create jobs, and bridge economic disparities between rural and urban areas.

The Ikun Dairy Farm was established in 1983. Located in Ikun-Ekiti within Moba Local Government Area, the farm spans approximately 536 hectares with the objective to become a flagship project in agricultural industrialization and food security. The farm's resuscitation includes cattle rearing, milk production, and arable farming, envisioned to position Ekiti State as an agricultural and industrial hub. The revitalization of Ikun Dairy Farm will leverage local and natural resources to produce sustainable dairy products, create jobs, and support local and regional economic activities.
